Our Self-Help Services

Our self-help centers warmly welcome walk-ins seeking select services. If you prefer remote assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to us via the LASSB Legal Advice hotline at (909) 889-7328. Our hotline operates from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and then from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday (with exceptions during scheduled holidays or observed office days). We’re here to assist you seamlessly and efficiently. 

At the Legal Aid Society of San Bernardino, our Self-Help Centers are your gateway to legal empowerment, equipping you for court proceedings across a range of critical matters:

  • Family Law, including divorce, child custody, and support.
  • Paternity issues.
  • Housing matters, encompassing landlord-tenant disputes and unlawful detainers (evictions).
  • Assistance with restraining orders in cases of domestic violence.
  • Fee waivers to alleviate financial burdens.
  • Record expungement for a fresh start.
  • We also offer referrals for various other forms of assistance.

Our commitment goes beyond information; we provide hands-on support through workshops, clinics, and cutting-edge legal kiosks, all designed to propel you towards success in your legal journey.
