Clinics Provide Free Legal Help.
Our Self-Help Services
Our Self-Help Centers welcome walk-ins for select services. If you’re unable to visit in person, you can receive assistance remotely through the LASSB Legal Advice Hotline at (909) 889-7328.
The hotline is available Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM, excluding holidays and scheduled office closures.
At the Legal Aid Society of San Bernardino, our Self-Help Centers are designed to help you confidently navigate the legal system. We provide guidance and support in a range of important legal matters, including:
- Family law (divorce, child custody, and child support)
- Paternity matters
- Housing issues, including landlord-tenant disputes and evictions
- Domestic violence restraining orders
- Guardianship and conservatorship
- Fee waivers
- Record expungement
We also provide referrals to additional community resources when needed.
Our support goes beyond basic information. We offer hands-on assistance through workshops, clinics, legal kiosks, and, when available, legal representation. Our goal is simple: to give you the tools, guidance, and support you need to move forward with confidence.

Unlawful Detainer Clinics
We offer Unlawful Detainer Clinics to assist with the preparation of answers and the drafting of discovery responses. These services are provided at a satellite location. Once an appointment is scheduled, the address will be provided.
Expungement Clinics
Expungement Clinics are offered at a variety of locations, including our main office. Please contact us to schedule an appointment.
Veteran Services
Veteran Services Clinics are dedicated to supporting those who have served. We provide assistance with family law matters, expungements, and other legal services tailored to the needs of veterans.
