Naomi started volunteering for the Legal Aid Society when she was 15 years old and a freshman in high school. She was a participant in the AVID program in high school, which encouraged individual growth and determination. Growing up she was always interested in the field of law.
Professional Background:
She started working at Legal Aid for two hours a day after school as a Data Entry Clerk. Throughout her 13 years with Legal Aid she has gained her knowledge and experience. She is now more actively involved with direct representation cases and court appearances. Although, she has not attended law school, she has over 13 years of experience in the field of law. She enjoys working at Legal Aid because it gives her the opportunity to assist those individuals that are unable to afford legal counsel, and finds it a blessing to know that she is impacting people’s lives for the better.
What I love:
She really loves spending quality time with her young son and family.
