Professional Background
I was born in Tacoma Washington, but grew up in Southern California. My high school and College education was in Orange County, but I attended Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. Practicing Law began in 1978 in Riverside with Atty. Gloria Rich doing Family Law.
My legal career has been filled with multiple areas of practice. Family Law, Bankruptcy, and Residential Law have been the main focus. But for over 15 years I was in Private Practice running a general law office consisting of many areas of law. I have worked at Legal Aid as the managing attorney since 2001.
I work at Legal Aid:
Working at Legal Aid has been a very rewarding and exciting experience. Trying to help people put right what once went wrong is one of the great challenges, and the best reason for working here. It is rewarding to see clients resolve problems and get their life on the right track.
I love:
Over the years I have traveled to other countries as well as throughout the United States. I have had the pleasure of hiking in the high Sierra Mountains and swimming in Tahiti. But nothing is better than seeing clients smile and overcome legal and personal hurdles.
